What we were trying
Tournament organizers can get stuck between choosing Eventbrite fees or a Venmo spreadsheet. We wanted a simple page where users can register and pay directly to the organizer's Stripe or Square account.
What shipped
- Event pages and an organizer dashboard
- Individual and team signup with capacity limits
- Stripe Connect and Square checkout
- Draft-to-publish flow that turns on public checkout
What we learned
Payments and webhooks are the hard part. If those work, the rest of the product has something to stand on.
